Popis: Opens with general views of the substantially intact metal structure of the burnt-out Zeppelin. Further shots show a gondola (with various military and naval personnel working in and around it), propellers, the engine telegraph, a badly wrecked engine, bomb droppers (an officer is seen attaching labels to them) and views of the lattice structure from inside the Zeppelin. General Sir William Robertson, Chief of the Imperial General Staff, is seen inspecting the wreckage. Lieut F Sowrey, 39 Squadron RFC, who shot down the sister Zeppelin L32 and his friend Lieut Leefe Robinson VC, also of 39 Squadron are seen passing through the barrier (presumably erected round the site of the wreck). A nearby cottage ("only 30 yards from the wreck") is shown, as is the family living there. The Secretary of State for War, David Lloyd George, and the First Lord of the Admiralty, Arthur Balfour, arrive to inspect the wreck. The Naval Officer accompanying them is Commodore Murray F Sueter, Director of the Air Department and Officer Commanding the Royal Naval Air Force.
